SNOWMOBILE TRAIL CONDITIONS

Snowmobile Trail Conditions, February 4, 2025

Please support the clubs by attending their events shown below.  Be sure to check with event holders for updates/cancellations.

Great – Trail has a really good base, groomed flat with solid snow that should hold up to traffic.
Good – Trail is flat with a good base, there may be ice underneath, and while groomed snow could become a bit mushy.
Moderate – Trail has decent riding, but may have bare spots, ice, or rough sections.
Marginal – Trail is passable, but may have thin snow, open or partially filled water bars, bare spots, ice, or trees down.

COOS COUNTY

  • Pittsburg Ridge Runners- Pittsburg/Clarksville: 100% OPEN 4-6” new snow groomed with moderate to great conditions. Cowen Hill Loop is Groomed. Logging continues and Corr.20 is closed between Jct. of 5/20 and 20/136. On the PRRSC map its between 911 trail Jct. No.s 1921. Indian Stream remains CLOSED due to logging.
  • Colebrook Ski-Bees, Colebrook/Stewartstown100% OPEN 6” new snow groomed with marginal conditions. Primary 120 CLOSED for the season due to logging. Watch for logging on Corr.21A near the Jct. of 128. Shrine trail is open but not groomed. Watch the clubs FB page for updates.
  • Swift Diamond Riders-Stewartstown/Clarksville/Dixville (Coleman State Park/Diamond Pond): 100% OPEN 3-6” new snow groomed with good conditions. Still expect some early season conditions.
  • Umbagog Snowmobile Association-Errol/Cambridge/Millsfield//Dixville95% OPEN 2-4” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Watch for thin areas especially close to town. Some trails have icy spots and exposed rocks.
  • Stratford Nighthawks-Stratford/Columbia/Groveton: 100% OPEN 4-6” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Moderate riding in the lower elevations and good in the higher elevations.
  • Groveton Trailblazers-Northumberland/Groveton/Stark.75% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal to good conditions. Spring like conditions. Watch out for rocks and open water bars. Primary 117 has a logging job use CAUTION. Corr.28 is thin by the ponds and power plant. 109 is open but not groomed due to lack of snow. Corr. 5 south of the club house to the village is not groomed and from the village south is CLOSED.
  • Milan All Weather Riders-Milan/Dummer/Errol/Cambridge/Success:  100% OPEN 4-6” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Corr.12 to Berlin Teakettle and Sand Flats (Corr.18) are CLOSED currently. Watch for early season conditions. Watch the clubs FB page for updates.
  • Lancaster Snowdrifters- Lancaster/Groveton/Jefferson/Whitefield:CLOSED
  • Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club- Jefferson/Randolph/Gorham/Lancaster100% OPEN 4-6” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Moderate riding in lower elevations.
  • Presidential Range Riders-Randolph/Gorham/Shelburne40% OPEN 2-4” new snow packed with marginal to moderate conditions. There is NO access to downtown Gorham area, there is just enough snow. Corr.12 the rail trail is open. Corr.12 North of the Jct 12 and 19 is CLOSED to Berlin currently. Bear Springs and Pinkham B Road are also CLOSED.
  • Dalton Ridge Runners- Dalton/Littleton/Lancaster/Whitefield: CLOSED
  • Whitefield Sno-Kings-Whitefield: 100% OPEN 2” new snow packed with marginal conditions. Primary 105 CLOSED not enough snow to cover the rails. Use CAUTION on the power lines and all trails in Whitefield due to decreased snow.
  • White Mountain Ridge Runners-Berlin/Success/Milan/Dummer/Randolph: 75% OPEN 5” new snow packed with marginal conditions. Early season conditions. USE CAUTION. Primary 108 is CLOSED.
  • Jefferson Hi-Landers- Jefferson/Carroll100% OPEN 2-4” new snow groomed and packed with marginal to moderate conditions. Early season riding. Use caution and watch your speed.
  • Trails Bureau- Berlin Success TrailCLOSED.
  • Jericho State Park-Berlin/Gorham100% OPEN 5” new snow packed with marginal conditions.
  • Dalton Ridge Runners- Dalton: Closed
  • Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club- Carroll100% OPEN 5” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Use CAUTION on Primary 102 rails are showing.

GRAFTON COUNTY

  • Alexandria Ledge Climbers-Alexandria100% OPEN Not groomed with marginal conditions.
  • Asquamchumaukee Valley Snowmobile Club-Warren: 25% OPEN 3” new snow groomed with marginal conditions. 156 is open to access food and fuel. Corridor 5 has decent cover from Wentworth to Glencliff /Connecticut Valley turn around to 157 intersections. All other trails are CLOSED due to no snow.
  • Baker River Valley Snowmobile Club- Dorchester/Groton/ Wentworth:CLOSED No report at this time.
  • Bridgewater Mtn. Snowmobile Club-Bridgewater: 100% OPEN Groomed with marginal conditions

  • Central NH Snowmobile Club-Campton/Ellsworth/Thornton: 100% OPEN 3-4” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. Corr. 11 CLOSED due to lack of snow.
  • Connecticut Valley Snowmobile Club- Monroe, Woodsville, North Haverhill: CLOSED No report at this time.
  • Lisbon Stump Jumpers- Lisbon/Lyman/Landaff/Bath/Sugar Hill: 50% OPEN 3” new snow groomed and packed with marginal conditions. Early season conditions exist, please use caution. Trails partially groomed and packed in higher elevations. Railroad bed has thin snow, not groomed. Route 105S on Mill Brook Rd in Landaff CLOSED due to logging. All trails to and from Littleton CLOSED.
  • Littleton Off Road Riders-Littleton/Whitefield/Bethlehem/Dalton/Lyman/Monroe: CLOSED No report at this time.
  • Twin State Trail Busters-Lebanon: CLOSED No report at this time.
  • Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club- Lyme/Orford/Dorchester/Canaan/Hanover/WentworthOPEN 35% of our trails are groomed. Limited riding from Reservoir Pond (parking lot on Dorchester Rd) to Pickerel Pond in Orford. Quinttown access is still CLOSED. 10 Mile and 6 Mile trails are great. We will be opening addition side trails this week.
  • Mount Cardigan Snowmobile ClubCanaan/Orange/Dorchester/Grafton/Enfield10% OPEN 2-3” new snow NOT groomed with marginal conditions. Northern Rail Trail 2 & 5 are open.  Primary 24 from Bryant Pond Road. to the northwest to corridors 5 & 153 are open connecting Hardy Country to Lyme. North of Stevens Road is open. CLOSED: 5 north from Canaan post office to Stevens Road and all other trails.  Check our FB page for updates.
  • Monroe Bumper Humpers-Bath/Monroe/Lyman100% OPEN 2” new snow not groomed. Packed with marginal conditions. More snow at higher elevation. Use CAUTION: Ice in places.
  • Mount Agassiz Trail Association-Bethlehem100% OPEN 4-8” new snow NOT groomed with moderate conditions. Expect early season riding for most of our system. Groomer down for repairs, but we expect it up and running by 1/31. We will resume grooming then. Follow Mt. Agassiz Trail Association FB page for more updates.
  • White Mountain Snowmobile Club-Lincoln/Woodstock100% OPEN 6” new snow in lower elevations and more in higher elevation, groomed except for Corridor 11 south.

  • Franconia Notch State Park: 100% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. CAUTION: North of Cannon to Gale River Loop the conditions are thin.

CARROLL COUNTY

  • Evergreen Valley Snowmobile Club- Milton/Farmington/Middleton/Union/Brookfield: CLOSED
  • Ossipee Valley Snowmobile Club-Albany/Madison/Tamworth/Sandwich/Ossipee/Freedom/Effingham75% OPEN Not groomed with marginal conditions. The Whiteface/Wonalancet/Tamworth area with parking in the club lot on Great Hill Road in Tamworth and the Constitution Trail from Ossipee Lake to Green Mountain are open. Corridor 19 remains CLOSED due to exposed hazards.
