
SNOWMOBILE TRAIL CONDITIONS
Snowmobile Trail Conditions, January 13, 2026
Please support the clubs by attending their events shown below. Be sure to check with event holders for updates/cancellations.
Great – Trail has a really good base, groomed flat with solid snow that should hold up to traffic.
Good – Trail is flat with a good base, there may be ice underneath, and while groomed snow could become a bit mushy.
Moderate – Trail has decent riding, but may have bare spots, ice, or rough sections.
Marginal – Trail is passable, but may have thin snow, open or partially filled water bars, bare spots, ice, or trees down.
- Pittsburg Ridge Runners – Pittsburg/Clarksville: 100% OPEN 4–5” new snow groomed with moderate to great conditions. Continued logging in a couple of areas; please obey trail signage. Trails are good in the southern section of our trail system to great in the northern section. Be aware that groomers are out day and night. Be safe, be responsible and keep right.
- Swift Diamond Riders – Stewartstown/Clarksville/Dixville (Coleman State Park/Diamond Pond): 100% OPEN 2”–4” new snow, groomed with moderate to great conditions. Use caution—some early season conditions still exist.
- Colebrook Ski-Bees – Colebrook/Stewartstown: 100% OPEN 2” new snow groomed with marginal to moderate conditions. In-town trails are extremely icy. Early season conditions can change quickly; stay alert.
- Umbagog Snowmobile Association – Errol/Cambridge/Millsfield/Dixville: 85% OPEN 3” new snow groomed with marginal to good conditions. Moderate to good conditions in higher elevations with marginal conditions close to town.
- Stratford Nighthawks – Stratford/Columbia/Groveton: 99% OPEN 6” new snow groomed and packed with good conditions. CLOSED: Blueberry Hill Trail and Connrary Trail (Route 3 to Percy Rd).
- Milan All Weather Riders – Milan/Dummer/Errol/Cambridge/Success: 100% OPEN 4–5” new snow groomed with moderate to good conditions. CAUTION: Trails have thin cover the closer you get to Milan Village.
- Trails Bureau – Berlin Success Trail: CLOSED
- Jericho State Park – Berlin/Gorham: 100% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal to moderate conditions.
- White Mountain Ridge Runners – Berlin/Milan/Dummer/Randolph: 80% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal to moderate conditions. Early season conditions—use caution.
- Groveton Trailblazers – Northumberland/Groveton/Stark: 75% OPEN 3” new snow, groomed with marginal to good conditions. Early season conditions. Corr. 28 temp CLOSED due to logging. Corr. 5 South is OPEN to the junction to Guildhall VT; from there south is temp CLOSED due to logging. From Groveton village south is marginal conditions, not groomed. Watch for logging on Primary 117.
- Lancaster Snowdrifters – Lancaster/Groveton/Jefferson/Whitefield: 50% OPEN 3” new snow NOT groomed with marginal conditions. Early season conditions—use caution. Corr. 5 north of Lancaster temp CLOSED due to logging.
- Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club – Jefferson/Randolph: 80% OPEN 3–5” new snow groomed with marginal to moderate conditions. Early season conditions—use caution.
- Presidential Range Riders – Randolph/Gorham/Shelburne: CLOSED
- Dalton Ridge Runners – Dalton/Littleton/Lancaster/Whitefield: CLOSED
- Whitefield Sno-Kings – Whitefield: 100% OPEN 3–4” new snow, NOT groomed with marginal conditions. Primary 105 is CLOSED due to lack of snow to cover the rails. Use caution—early season conditions.
- Jefferson Hi-Landers – Jefferson/Carroll: 100% OPEN 4” new snow packed with marginal conditions.
- Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club – Carroll: 100% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with moderate conditions. Use caution and watch for downed trees. Groomers are out day and night.
GRAFTON COUNTY
- Littleton Off Road Riders – Littleton/Whitefield/Bethlehem/Dalton/Lyman/Monroe: 80% OPEN 1–3” new snow; 75% NOT groomed, 5% groomed, and 50% packed with most trails at marginal conditions. Still many to be cleared from ice storm damage last week and then panned/rolled. Expect thin snow and ice; many tree branches hover over trails. Trail 103 (power line section from Foster Hill Road to The Dam Pit Stop) will remain CLOSED. Follow our Facebook page for updates.
- Mount Agassiz Trail Association – Bethlehem: 70% OPEN 4–6” new snow packed with 50% marginal to 50% moderate conditions. Primary 104 is OPEN from Brook Road to intersection of Corridor 11. Corridor 11 is OPEN to Twin Mountain. Rek-Lis Trail and Town Trails are OPEN. Scenic Loop is OPEN. All other trails are CLOSED until more snow.
- Monroe Bumper Humpers – Bath/Monroe/Lyman: 100% OPEN 6” new snow groomed and packed with marginal conditions. All rolled and some groomed. Some open water bars and brush hanging in the trail. Brush work ongoing; ride with caution. Detour at the Lyman end of 103 being resolved.
- Lisbon Stump Jumpers – Lisbon/Lyman/Landaff/Bath/Sugar Hill: No report
- Connecticut Valley Snowmobile Club – Bath/Woodsville/North Haverhill: No report
- Franconia Notch State Park: 100% OPEN 3–6” new snow groomed with marginal to good conditions. North end of bike path to Gale River loop has marginal conditions.
- White Mountain Snowmobile Club – Lincoln/Woodstock: 90% OPEN 5” new snow groomed with moderate conditions. Primary 156 OPEN and groomed; early season riding conditions still on power lines. Bog Pond trail OPEN and groomed. Corridor 11s from Campers World into downtown Lincoln is not groomed and CLOSED for the time being. Corridor 11s (railroad tracks) CLOSED.
- Asquamchumauke Valley Snowmobile Club – Warren: 25–30% OPEN 5” new snow, packed and groomed. Lower elevation trails are moderate with thin snow, icy spots, and rough sections. Higher elevations have 10–20” coverage. Power Line Loop and Glencliff Loop are NOT groomed due to lack of snow in lower elevations.
- Central NH Snowmobile Club – Campton/Ellsworth/Thornton: 100% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal to good conditions. CAUTION: South end of Primary 152 may have open water. Corridor 11 CLOSED due to lack of snow to cover the rails.
- Bruhawachet Sno-Trackers – Ellsworth/Rumney: No report
- Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club – Lyme/Orford/Dorchester/Canaan/Hanover/Wentworth: 80% OPEN; 10% groomed; 20% marginal conditions. Very limited riding. Most gates are OPEN except Quinttown gates are CLOSED. Corr 5 blocked by trees north of Town Line Pond Trail into Rocky Loops. Corr 5 blocked by trees heading south (Gorman Trail) from 6 Mile Trail. Primary 153 from 6 Mile Trail (Corr 5) east towards North Dorchester Rd (formerly Quimby Trail) is blocked by trees. Dorchester Rd parking lot is OPEN.
- Baker River Valley Snowmobile Club – Dorchester/Groton/Wentworth: 25% OPEN 4” new snow, half groomed with marginal conditions. East side of system still CLOSED (down trees). 5N to Warren–Cheever and 153 groomed with marginal to good conditions. 8N from Townline to Rocky still CLOSED due to storm damage; should be cleared by this weekend.
- Snow Drifters Snowmobile Club – Rumney/Hebron/Groton/Campton/Plymouth: 100% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal to moderate conditions. CAUTION: Ice under snow in places. FYI—the trail to the NORTH STATION DINER will be CLOSED this season. Also, there will be NO PARKING at the diner due to construction on adjacent property.
- Squam Trail-Busters – Holderness/Ashland/Plymouth/Campton/Thornton: 25% OPEN 5” new snow, groomed with moderate conditions. Upper elevations of Sandwich Notch OPEN.
- Bridgewater Mtn. Snowmobile Club – Bridgewater: 100% OPEN groomed with moderate conditions. Grooming and clearing ongoing.
- Hardy Country Snowmobile Club – Hebron/Groton/Dorchester/Rumney/Orange/Alexandria: 95% OPEN, less the trail out of Wellington. Groomed. Conditions vary—from thin at Bridgewater neighbors to amazing snowmobiling at Rumney and Canaan neighbors. 11 to Alexandria not groomed due to thin cover. Gas at Tenney Mt., food at Tenney Ski Area and the Hebron store. Parking at Sculptured Rocks and Hebron Village store.
- Alexandria Ledge Climbers – Alexandria: 100% OPEN; 85% groomed; packed with moderate conditions.
- Mount Cardigan Snowmobile Club – Canaan/Orange/Dorchester/Grafton/Enfield: 25% OPEN 5” new snow; some groomed with marginal conditions. Corridor 2 & 5 (“Rail Bed”) is OPEN and groomed. Canaan to Stevens Rd. (5) remains CLOSED and will be OPEN soon. North of Stevens Rd. is OPEN; Dodge Rd. is OPEN to 24 and back to 5. You may park on Stevens Rd. unless there is a storm. 349 may OPEN soon. Other trails are CLOSED.
- Twin State Trail Busters – Lebanon: No report
CARROLL COUNTY
- White Mountain Trail Club – Bartlett/Bear Notch/Albany/Harts Location/Livermore: 50% OPEN 4” new snow groomed with marginal conditions. Bear Notch Road, Albany Brook, Upper Haystack, Meadowbrook Trail to Swan’s Junction, and Church Pond now OPEN. Conditions subject to change; check club website.
- Corridor 19 Hurricane Mt Road to Maine – Chatham/Bartlett/Jackson: CLOSED
- Mountain Meadow Riders – Conway/Madison/Albany: CLOSED
- Ossipee Valley Snowmobile Club – Albany/Madison/Tamworth/Sandwich/Ossipee: 50% OPEN 4” new snow; 100% packed with 50% moderate to 50% good conditions. Western system OPEN with parking on club lot on Great Hill Road. Corridor 19 remains CLOSED due to low snow and exposed hazards. Ride gently during the warm‑up.
- Scrub Oak Scramblers – Madison/Freedom/Eaton/Tamworth: CLOSED
- Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club – Wakefield/Brookfield/Wolfeboro/Effingham/Ossipee: 100% OPEN 3” new snow NOT groomed with moderate to good conditions in higher elevations. Trails cleared after ice storm. Grooming suspended until after rain this coming weekend.
- Sandwich Sidehillers – Sandwich: 25% OPEN 5” new snow groomed with moderate conditions. Upper elevations of Sandwich Notch area OPEN. Parking at Waterville end and Sandwich end.
- Castle in The Clouds – White Lake State Park to Corr 19 to Corr 15 to Castle in the Clouds to Corr 26: CLOSED (not enough snow; rocky in areas).
- Wolfeboro Snowmobile Club – Wolfeboro/Brookfield/Moultonborough/New Durham/Ossipee/Tuftonboro: CLOSED (trail system currently CLOSED). Check the club’s webpage/Facebook for updates.
- Moultonboro Snowmobile Club – Moultonborough/Center Harbor: CLOSED (will reevaluate after the rain).
BELKNAP COUNTY
- Sno-Streakers Snowmobile Club – Meredith/Center Harbor: CLOSED
- Mohawk Trail Riders – Sanbornton/New Hampton/Meredith: CLOSED
- Belknap Snowmobilers – Gilford/Laconia: CLOSED
- Belmont Bogie Busters – Belmont: CLOSED

- Mount Major Snowmobile Club – Alton/Gilmanton/Barnstead: CLOSED. Not groomed. Thin coverage and bony spots. Ice storm brought down trees/branches. Only trail maintenance riding should be done at this time.
STRAFFORD COUNTY
- Powder Mill Snowmobile Club – Alton/Brookfield/Farmington/Middleton/New Durham/Rochester: CLOSED. Warm weather and rain, have to close trails.
- Evergreen Valley Snowmobile Club – Milton/Farmington/Middleton/Union/Brookfield: CLOSED
- Strafford Swamp Stompers – Strafford/Northwood: CLOSED
- Barrington Snow Goers – Barrington: CLOSED. Trail system is CLOSED until more snow. Do your snow dance!!!
MERRIMACK COUNTY
- Lakes Region Snowmobile Club – Franklin/Hill/Andover: 100% OPEN; groomed and packed with marginal conditions. Club is grooming and OPENING gates this week.
- Andover Snowmobile Club – Andover: 100% OPEN; NOT groomed with marginal conditions.
- Kearsarge Trail Snails – Warner/Webster/Salisbury: CLOSED
- Lake Sunapee Snowmobile Club – Bradford/Newbury/Sunapee: 100% OPEN; NOT groomed with marginal conditions.
