Art Exhibit – “Paintings in Bloom” by Kathi Caldwell-Hopper
Step into summer with the vibrant floral artwork of Kathi Caldwell-Hopper, a Lakes Region native and longtime creative. Her exhibit, Paintings in Bloom, features joyful year-round florals inspired by blooms gifted by local florists and bridal magazine advertisers. Each painting brings the beauty of nature indoors through her expressive and colorful brushwork.
Live Music – North River Music at 6:00 PM in Rotary Park
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a live performance by North River Music. This local Americana band is known for their rich harmonies and engaging mix of folk, bluegrass, and classic rock. Audiences can expect familiar favorites from artists like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Bob Dylan, and The Eagles—perfect for a summer evening in the park.
Explore Local History
Visitors can also enjoy self-guided tours of the Belknap Mill, the oldest unaltered brick textile mill in the United States. The museum’s new permanent exhibit, Threads of Innovation, tells the story of the region’s industrial heritage and the Mill’s role in shaping local history.
