Our friend Kris, was in a horrible motorcycle accident on August 15th. He has a skull fracture that is causing swelling of the brain. Kris is a Laconia High School graduate, Class of 2011. He was an active member of the Laconia Sachems football team and a band member. Kris is currently employed at R & D paving.

Kris found his eternal love, Lauren Drake, now Lauren Moulton. The two have been married just over two years, (8-20-17).

Kris’ accident has had him at Concord Hospital since the 15th. While at Concord he underwent two surgeries to help decrease brain swelling, and has also been put on a ventilator. While on the ventilator, Kris has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Kris was recently transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital, where they are better equipped to help Kris recover from the pneumonia and monitor any swelling of the brain he may have. He has had one surgery already since being admitted to Mass General to help with the swelling , a very serious surgery due to the pneumonia.

Kris’ family will be staying by his side as much as they can, however, this is an expense which will take a toll on them. Lisa and Kevin, Kris’ parents will be there supporting Lauren and Kris, however, they will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time.

We are wanting to raise funds for Kris and his family as they go through this, not only for the hotel stays, but also any medical expenses they will incur.
